Foam bonding is the step in upholstered furniture production where foam is fixed to the wooden frame, to felt and to fabric. In sofa, armchair and dining chair production, foams of different densities are usually joined over curved surfaces.
The adhesive has to hold without collapsing the foam's cell structure, must not strike through and mark the fabric and must not let the layers move under the load of sitting. Güçlü® solvent-based foam adhesives spray quickly over large surfaces and form a bond that keeps the foam flexible.
